Didn’t watch the sports ball bowl last year either. However, last year about four days from today, when they won the bowl, KC decided to celebrate down at historic Union Station. If the mess was any indication of the smell, I would not want to imagine it!
Because the KC Justice system is a joke and they don’t prosecute their violent thugs, there wasn’t even the slightest deterrence for Lyndell Mays (Raytown), fresh off two years of probation for also pulling a gun during a dispute at a community center basketball club game, drew once more, along with Dominic Miller after getting riled up as teens often do during Super Bowl festivities. Dominic fired first after fearing someone was “gonna get him,” so everybody just started blasting. As is to be expected during a teen, youth event of concern there was one casualty and 22 injuries. The casualty, Lisa Lopez-Galvan, was a mother of two. She was also a local celebrity hosting “A Taste of Tejano” on 90.1FM KKFI. Radio powered by diversity!

My time seems better occupied writing about ecumenical orgs and private grants. When I’m finished with the data entry, I’ll upload it to a google sheet with source data and share it in the community resources section of the next one. More eyes on this the better! Just focusing on the churches and what they receive from community foundations.
My inner schizo would prefer a large visual graphic using some kind of collaberative online vector tool to give quick visual overviews of the relationships in these convoluted funding streams. Seems like a win of more substance than stealing one vicariously through athletic competition, the plight of the eternal sports ball fan. At least nobody lost any money.
HL Hunt must’ve been a Methodist. At least two of his children went to college at Southern Methodist in Dallas, Lamar and Swanee.
Swanee was also the 2nd largest human donor to Bill Clinton who elevated the EPA to cabinet level. Lamar is no stranger to foundations either.
So many reasons not to be a chiefs fan! Whew.
After that extraordinarily tragic event, the Chiefs threaten to leave the state if the fans don’t foot the bill with an increased stadium tax to move Arrowhead downtown? Douche tier - don’t even miss watching the games tbh.
How about when Mahomes got booed on the field for engaging in the race-baiting, destructive, scandalous Black Lives Matter movement? 🍇How much did these guys get from the Ford Foundation for doing this? How many of these guy teen youth millionaires have domestic violence rap sheets? Imagine the histrionics if they went back to one national anthem?
Why would a black millionaire decide to throw it all away only to turn some poor fatherless woman’s eye area different shades of blue?
Why would a black college student who rode the bus all the way to his job report a fraud crime to Minneapolis PD after dancing banana man did heroic doses of fentanyl in his drug dealers hooptie?
WElp…. I dunno. 😐I’m just ‘speriencing the same clown sans emoji font situation as the rest of ya’ll and trying to answer the same damn questions. I want to reach across the aisle at some of these bewitched looking libtards and start having some real conversations about what it means to live freely.
