Tucker Carlson brings on a lawyer representing the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine
Omission. The lawyer's favorite lie.
I’m writing about ecumenical organizations. The data collection side of the project is a breeze. The historical, spiritual and cultural angles have me scratching my head a little on how this should be delivered.
Getting closer to the truth on this one is slowing me down. Spending more time walking outside and muttering prayers. Praying for the pope along with the chamber of commerce, relatives, co-workers and all those people that didn’t arrive in your life all of the sudden and coat you with flattery (Proverbs 6:7).

Bob Amsterdam’s appearance on Dugger Garrlzson X™ last month did not go unnoticed. Oh how time just seems to slip-slide away these days!
On the periphery of the 5k tabs open right now in brave is some history on the political intrigue between Patriarch Bartholomew of the Eastern Orthodox Church in Constantinople and his battle with Russia for control of the Orthodox Church throughout the eastern bloc, including Ukraine (for now at least).
The next one will open with a little anecdote of when the World Council of Churches, an ecumenical organization, allowed these very sus looking dudes (pic below) into the high church council.
At the height of the Civil Rights movement, the council of churches in South Africa were tasked by God (presumably) to nudge member churches towards anti-apartheid. We all know who’s responsible for that movement there. These are the same kinds of churches that wear rainbow robes here in the US.
Though Tucker introduces Amsterdam as a representative of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, as usual, the whole truth gets fuzzy in exchange for presumably one of those coveted golden toilets in Moscow. So many conservatives seem to be vying for this prize lately, I’m surprised that supplies aren’t running out. Trump probably holds 90% already.
The real story behind the Russian Orthodox Church getting kicked out of Ukraine has far more to do with the it’s political behaviors and blatant, traitorous espionage against the Ukrainian government, than the poor 400 orphans now without a sister mother, as Amsterdam selectively claims. The whole part of the truth is that Moscow needed their church to handle some business, which led to Ukraine just needing to handle a security risk. Not the first time the ROC did state business, won’t be the last.
Amsterdam claims to be pro-Ukraine, though he qualifies that to “the extent to which they’ve suffered,” whatever the heck that means? Most likely this was more fog-of-war rage bait for already “war weary conservatives,” who have plenty of salt for Ukraine and not a grain for Putin. If only they were aware that far more money has been spent creating a digital smart-growth gulag for them in their nearest city than Ukraine! I mean, what a waste of tax-dollars!
All of this American greatness piling on to this week’s smear campaign versus Zelensky, conveniently while Trump is attempting to partner with the terrorist state of Russia to slight three years of Ukrainian sacrificed life defending themselves from an invasion our own president can’t even admit to. Expanded context has no time for some.
Chesterton in Orthodoxy described the aftermath of the reformation uniquely; where the vices went out and did terrible things, but the virtues were just as destructive. There will be more than I’d like of the latter in the next article, unfortunately.
Christian and Platte counties seem to have movements right now in Missouri. Springfield has one guy, I think. There’s only so much one can do against a wall of goon though. That’s how communism works, manufactured consent.
These are not the times for “purple” or RINO representation. Not while both sides are tugging with the enemy. It is time for a 1960’s Bircher style conservative movement, and all the anti-commusim that implies. Time to reach across the aisles and grab a pro-Ukraine democrat to see where we can get along for the sake of saving our union from unelected regionalism and data center gulags. Not going to happen without media literacy 101 and many subsequent necessary remedial courses.
I wrote about Christian county standing up to regionalism back in the 70’s. They weren’t having it. When Glenn Griffin, chair of the LCRPC showed up, he was met by fierce resistance from angry Ozarkians. They filled the courthouse after packing the courtroom! They had to adjourn the meeting an hour in. Missourians like this are doing very high quality OSINT and political and media literacy right now, but they need a larger audience.
I’m not sure where they stand on Ukraine, but I think it should be a resounding “for.” For reasons above, but also because Trump’s probably going to be giving very bad people “Visa gold cards” soon, who will probably be purchasing the factories and soccer fields on the perimeters of every metro.
If the Modi pattern can be expected, they’ll also probably be importing their own co-ethnics towards more political influence in government.
Just as the the Berlin Wall was theater of the spectacle, so is the idea of MAGA, at least delivered by Trump. Trump signed the USMCA after Kushner performed CPR on it a few times, and he also sold us out to Silicon Valley. Those two things alone are enough to start mounting vocal opposition to whatever else he’s doing.
